Big, Deep Breath...

[Okay, here I go. I'm taking a big deep breath and jumping off with both feet.]

It's always been a dream of mine to be a child photographer. I mean, REALLY. My husband thinks I'm nuts (used to be cakes...and now it's photography), but he's supportive.


It doesn't hurt either that I have an adorable child I love to photograph. And many of you readers out there comment about my lovely photos, how I capture a "moment", and it's been inspiring, let me tell you.

The Bubble Gun

Well, Year 4 has started off with a bang. A bang of illness and grumpiness.

Ya know...those Terrible 2's aren't so bad....it's the Terrible 3's that are the kicker. And let me tell you....the roughly 2 weeks that he's been 3...have been kinda terrible.

This photo sums it up pretty quickly.

He's learned to stomp his feet, whine really loud, and hope to get his way. Let me just say he's been reacquainted with The Naughty Mat.

Oh well, we are coping.

On a different note, he got one of those bubble guns for his birthday (just a battery-operated gun-like thingy that sprays bubbles...rather than having to blow your brains out with the crappy wands) and he is absolutely psycho about it. We have gone through bottles of bubbles in 2 weeks. The Grump City photo was taken when I told him it was time to go inside for dinner.

The other day it was pretty nice outside and we decided to head out for photos. I think I got a few nice and cool ones.

Sorry to have been posting so irregularly (read: in a long time). We've all been sick and mopey and tired of winter. I promise to do better. Lots to post about....

My gift to myself is....

a freakin' cold.

Jee-Ma-Nee....not really the way I want to spend my 29th birthday (today, March 11th). I'm sniffling, snotting, blowing my nose, popping pills, and swabbing the inside of my nose with these damn things.

Not pleasant.

To add my my misery, G-Man is kinda sick too. He's got a nasty cough and celebrated his 3rd birthday with coughing and hacking.

Can we blame ourselves for getting sick when one day it's 70 degrees, another day its 14 degrees and then today it will be 50 degrees?

By the way....Ms. Crafty Wanna-Be will be posting photos of G-Man's kick-ass 3rd birthday PIRATE PARTY here this week (or at least when I can download the photos and get them posted). I really busted out my crafty wanna-be-ness for his cupcakes, cake and invitations.
